Scott’s supported piling works on a treatment plant upgrade in North Wales. The package combined a Komatsu excavator, a MOVAX side-grip piling hammer and a specialist operator, delivered as a single solution to streamline planning and delivery on a tightly controlled site.
MOVAX’s high-frequency vibratory technology allows sheet piles to be driven quickly while limiting vibration transmission to adjacent structures and sensitive assets. The side-grip design improves handling and positioning, helping crews work safely within restricted footprints and around existing services.
By supplying the excavator, attachment and operator together, Scott’s simplified interfaces for the principal contractor. One order, one point of accountability and equipment matched to the method meant fewer stoppages and a cleaner programme.
