Scott’s returned to a live water scheme to reverse part of an earlier phase. A National Pile Croppers Power Cropper made quick, tidy work of precast piles and kept the programme moving.
On 20 August 2025, Scott’s supported rework on a water sanitation upgrade in North Wales. The task required rapid removal of precast piles within a tight footprint and with minimal disruption to ongoing works.
The team deployed a Komatsu excavator paired with the National Pile Croppers Power Cropper. The attachment delivered clean cuts at ground level, which meant faster extraction, less spoil to handle and a safer work area than traditional methods.
Conditions proved drier than expected and the controlled cropping action allowed operators to position, slice and lift out sections in one smooth sequence. The result was a neat finish ready for follow on trades and a day saved on the plan.
