Same day delivery keeps water upgrade on programme

 “Call at nine. Digging by twelve.”

When a water treatment project in Accrington needed extra capacity, the team called Scott’s first thing. A Komatsu PC55MR was added to the order that morning and was on site by midday, ready to work. The rapid turnaround meant crews carried on with essential pipe upgrades without losing time.

The 5 ton excavator joined a strong Scott’s line up already on the scheme, including a 12 ton Komatsu zero tail, Rammax trench roller, 1.5 ton Takeuchi, 8 ton Komatsu and a 9 ton Wacker Neuson dual view dumper. With in house logistics and engineers on call, the machine arrived set up, checked and ready to earn from the first bucket.
