Spillard System

There are 4 cameras – front, rear, left & right.

There are 2 detection zones per camera – Red & Amber

However, these are all knitted together into one continuous wrap around detection zone.

The detection zones move with the slewing of the machine, not with the tracks/wheels of the machine. (Remember, the cameras don’t move, they are fixed on the machine so spin when the machine spins).

An audible warning will be given when a person enters the yellow or red zone.

Speakers fitted externally on the body of the machine & internally in the cab will sound when a person enters these zones.

Panic button can be pressed if an incident occurs or as a flag for an important event that may need to be recorded.

Prolec

Prolec products overview

Prolec Height Limiter: Protects overhead structures, including bridges, signs, and power lines. This range of systems provide real time height limitation; the system monitors the boom and dipper to keep a safe working environment when the limits are set. Hydraulic motion cuts are standard on all systems to automatically override movement and halt the machine when limits are reached.

Prolec Slew Limiter: The Slew Limiter ensures safe operation by limiting the machine's rotation within safe angles. This feature prevents accidents, minimises property damage, and adds a crucial layer of safety to operations. Good for Highways.

Prolec RCI (Rated Capacity Indicators): Prolec's RCI system enhances safety by preventing overload situations, safeguarding both operators and equipment. By reducing the risk of equipment damage and operator injury, RCI contributes to operational efficiency and cost savings. Designed to assist in meeting LOLER requirements for safe lifting.

The RF Solutions RADIOTRAP is a long range 433 MHz Remote control system consisting of transmitter and receiver. It is designed to operate continuously 365 days a year. X Watch - XW4 Series

The XW4 monitors a heavy machinery’s height and slew movement. It has been designed to accurately restrict using feather-touch proportional hydraulic control a machine’s height and left/right slew parameters, ensuring operator and machine safety, and providing a safe, comfortable environment for the operator and those around the machine.
Height Control

Operation is fail safe and fully automatic with function selection never more tha two key presses away.

All potential machine high points are monitored and appropriate motions controlled. Full power is always available to move away from a limit.

Motions are controlled with ramped slow down on approach and soft-stop. There is no machine 'bounce', overshoot, or undershoot. An optional chassis sensor can be installed to correct for terrain slope.
SLEW Control

Single/dual parallel wall or angular limitation are available. When walls are in use. the front end equipment is also monitored and controlled for limit breach.

Limits can be either manually keyed in or set by positioning the machine. If both limits are active, the system will automatically flip to the appropriate display should a hazard approach occur. Set up is simple, quick, and can be protected with an optional access key switch. All settings are retained and will be active on start-up.
