Making the Most of JCB UX

• The JCB 245XR excavator is equipped with JCB UX, an advanced operator experience solution designed to maximise convenience, comfort, efficiency and control. Multiple personalised profiles allow operators to switch seamlessly between settings, while a fully customisable climate control system ensures comfort in all conditions. With simplified attachment selection, an easy-to-connect phone sync system and a consistent interface across machines, JCB UX makes operating more intuitive and efficient.

Minimum Swing

• The JCB 245XR has been designed with reduced tailswing to maximise safety and performance in tight, congested environments such as highways and housing developments. With a tailswing radius of just 1.72m, 40% less than the 220X, it can work safely close to buildings, barriers and road edges. The shorter front swing and reduced tailswing also provide a working radius reduction of 1.6m compared to the 220X, allowing the 245XR to deliver comfort and power within a compact footprint.

Superior Comfort

• Operators can work in complete comfort with the 245XR cab, designed to make life easier on site whatever the conditions. High-definition twin cameras are integrated into the UX display as standard, with an optional 360° camera for total visibility. The easy-to-use interface provides real-time information on fuel, AdBlue usage, average consumption and trip data, while dual trip meters help track fuel usage and service intervals. A customisable seat, ergonomic layout and integrated climate control further reduce fatigue, all within one of the quietest cabs on the market.

Extreme Strength

• The JCB 245XR has been through four years of intensive hydraulic, electronic and electrical development to create a machine that doesn’t just look strong, but is strong. Its DIESELMAX engines have been proven across 70 different machines worldwide, while shaker rig testing has simulated 15,000 hours of tracking and vibration. Windows and doors have been tested through 30,000 operation cycles to guarantee durability, and hot and cold climate testing from -30°C to +55°C ensures reliable performance in even the harshest environments.
