Scotts’ Solar Welfare Van packs a full site canteen and washroom into a clean, efficient layout. Up front you get four M1 crash-tested seats around a fixed table, plenty of power (280Ah Li-ion battery with smart split-charge, 2000W inverter, 12V/USB and RCD-protected sockets), PIR interior lighting, and hard-wearing, anti-slip finishes with hi-vis step edging. The welfare galley is fully equipped with a 500W microwave, 12V fridge, hot-water boiler and hand-wash sink with twin 10L fresh/grey tanks, plus soap, towel, first-aid and eye-wash kits—everything crews need to take a proper break.
At the rear the space splits neatly into a toilet cubicle (electric flush cassette, hot-wash, mirror and PIR lighting) and a dedicated tool store with load locks, coat hooks and wipe-clean panels. Outside, drivers benefit from a tow step with electrics, reverse sensors/camera, white-noise beeper, R65 lightbar, roof LED work lights and a roof-mounted solar panel with charge controller to keep systems topped up off-grid. Deadlocks, alarm upgrade, TPMS and wheel-nut indicators round out the safety spec. The result: a tidy, comfortable welfare hub that’s easy to clean, economical to run and built to keep teams safe, productive and compliant on any site.
