Spark arrestors are a simple but essential safety measure when operating plant in high risk environments. They prevent hot particles from exiting the exhaust system and are often required on sites handling petrol, chemicals or any zone where there is a risk of ignition. Many utility and infrastructure projects now specify spark arrestors as part of their safety compliance.

At Scott’s we can fit spark arrestors across our fleet, from small excavators and dumpers through to larger tracked machines. If you know your site will require them, please allow additional notice when placing your hire so we can prepare the machine in advance and keep your programme moving without delay.
